Hi,

We will try to help you in the best way possible. First of all, it's sad to know what your friend had been going through lately.

Based on the history you have shared, it's too early to relate it to drug abuses many diseases present with such symptoms including food poisoning to some endocrine system disorders and need to be reviewed by medical care provider before commenting on substance abuse.

For Stomach pains meanwhile antispasmodic like drotaverine can be used. OTC analgesic like acetaminophen can also help with pain.

If vomiting or diarrhoea proceeds may need intravenous fluids and antiemetics too.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
